Common questions
Will an eSIM work on my phone?
Your phone needs to support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Quick check: dial *#06# — if you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM. Most iPhones from XS/XR onwards and most recent Samsung and Google flagships do.
When does my plan start counting?
It depends on the plan — each plan card says either “validity starts when you install” or “validity starts on first network connection”. If it starts on connection, you can safely install at home before you fly.
My data usage looks wrong or stuck at zero
Usage figures come from the network with a delay of a few hours — that’s why we show “as of” a time rather than a live meter. If you just started using data, give it a few hours before worrying.
Can I top up instead of buying a new plan?
Some plans support top-ups and some don’t — the plan card says which. If yours doesn’t, buying a new plan for the same destination takes a minute.
I deleted the eSIM from my phone
Deleting an installed eSIM from your device does not restore it — the plan can’t be reinstalled on another device afterwards. If this happens, contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
